Meetings are held every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 7pm until 9pm. We’re meeting virtually via Zoom. Our current plan is to continue to hold regular meetings via Zoom and hope to hold some in-person events from time to time. For more details on our meetings, click here.

You need not be a member to attend.

Annual dues for membership are $30.

Meetings the monthly TMUG meetings provide 

• Interesting and educational Mac - and iOS-related presentations and demonstrations.
• A place for you to make face to face contact with other Mac and iOS users and local Mac/iOS professionals to ask questions and get help. Socializing is part of the fun. (When we are able to resume in-person meetings.)
• Super Raffle: To promote attendance at our monthly meetings, each current member will receive a ticket to our yearly Super Raffle. Thus members can receive as many as 12 Super Raffle tickets in a year. Raffle tickets for each meeting must be filled out and deposited in our raffle-ticket box by the end of that meeting. We even have a way to run the Super Raffle during our virtual meetings.
• The winning Super Raffle ticket is drawn in March from all the tickets collected during the year. The prize varies, but it is always worthwhile.
• Monthly raffles for Mac and iOS related items such as printers, hard drives, gadgets, software, iTunes gift cards, books, and manuals. You’ll receive a free raffle ticket at each meeting. If you wear a TMUG-logoed item of clothing you’ll receive an extra ticket. (When we are able to resume in-person meetings.)
• We have a Freebies table where you can recycle your unwanted Mac/iOS items or pick up someone else's unwanted treasures for free. (When we are able to resume in-person meetings.)

TMUG Forums — Members are eligible to have an account on the TMUG Forum, an online community of Tucson-centric Mac and iOS users who discuss and receive answers to all sorts of Mac and iOS related topics as well as selected non-related topics, for example, wanted to buy or sell, recommendations, etc. The forums cover all of Apple's products -- Macs, iPods, iPhones, iPads, Apple TV, iTunes, accessories, and services. Some of the topic areas in the TMUG Forum:

• Deals on equipment and software.
• Training, tips, techniques, and recommendations.
• MacOS and iOS operating systems.
• Hardware and software operation and troubleshooting.
• Computer networks and the Internet.
• TV and video on the Mac: Apple TV, TV-related hardware & software, and video editing.
• Apps for the Mac, iPhone, iPod, iPad, and VoIP.

In addition to the public, Apple-related bargains sites on the web, TMUG receives private notifications of limited-time/limited-quantity bargain pricing on Apple items. We post these in our members-only Special Deals in the TMUG Forums. Some of the recent deals posted include:

• Special pricing and discounts on Mac-centric publications including the Take Control books.
• Apple-User-Groups-only deals on books, training materials, accessories, hardware, and software. These are password protected and the selection changes monthly.
• Special prices on software and training materials directly from publishers and developers.
• Through their generosity, Tucson's local Apple Specialist, Simutek, and Cartridge World give TMUG members discounts.
